A holistic, quiet and supportive therapy with roots in osteopathy, Craniosacral Therapy is grounded in the understanding that health is inherent: our bodies work to heal themselves. Craniosacral Therapy enhances this, helping to relieve trauma – physical, mental and emotional – accident or stress, old, acute or long-term.
Craniosacral Therapy is gentle and non-manipulative. It works with underlying causes as well as specific symptoms and supports the body as it follows its own intelligence and timing. Craniosacral Therapy allows healing from the inside and searches always for health and well-being, reducing stress and enhancing energy.

Craniosacral Therapy is a complementary therapy and works alongside primary medical relationships.
Sessions usually last an hour.
A detailed case history is taken at the first session to understand the reasons for your visit and your expectations.
During a session a client usually lies on a treatment table, fully clothed, while gentle contact is made at the shoulders, head, base of the spine and other afflicted areas to encourage healing and rebalancing.
Each session is reviewed. Improvement or resolution may happen after very few sessions, although more treatments may be necessary for deep-seated problems.
Some clients find regular sessions to be beneficial to support health.

The efficacy of the treatment intrigued me – how could something so subtle bring about such profound change? – and it became clear that the only thing to do was to follow the nudging, find out more and train as a biodynamic practitioner...
